I’m appreciating the millwork everywhere I look these days! Pops of green and yellow lining this otherwise spare Shaker style farmhouse add so much personality while maintaining a little of the serious.
The Portugal home of Jeremiah Brent and Nate Burkus had my jaw on the floor. Who doesn’t want to relocate to the Portuguese contryside and renovate a forgotton old farm house and preserve a lot of its original moldings?! I have been drooling at every turn.
Are you guys watching Rooster on HBO? Such a funny, heart-warming show about a father-daughter relationship set against the backdrop of Ludlow College …. but Ludlow College is actually University of the Pacific. And here’s just one image of some fabulous, East Coast style millwork that’s actually on the West Coast. The show features many interior spaces with some really stellar old-world wood paneling. Come for the Steve Carrell humor, stay for the blazers and joinery.

Now actually heading to the East Coast- this vacation home in the Hamptons features what seems to be dozens of rooms fully saturated by wood paneling,
I truly cannot get enough … and neither can these homeowners!
